I feel like I’m currently experiencing the same exact situation as the gal in question #1. Under the guidance of my DO I just did my first 10 cycle of the progesterone pill you reference in the show but it unfortunately did not result in a period. My doctor is now talking about starting me on a 3 month cycle of birth control pills ๐ I was on and off BC through my teens and twenties and I absolutely hated it, plus I’m wanting to get pregnant, not stop it. Do you have any ideas I can bring up with my doc that does not involve me having to go on the dreaded “Pill”. P.S. I’m well aware that I really can’t worry about getting pregnant without first having a regular menstrual cycle but its just the idea of having to start on a medication that does the exact opposite of what I’m trying to achieve that really messes me up mentally and emotionally.

Hi Ladies, I was wondering what you could tell me about Growth Hormone Deficiency. As a young girl, around 11/12 years old, I was diagnosed with GHD. I then took human growth hormone to “fix” the deficiency for about 2 years. I was wondering if you could tell me more about what causes that deficiency? What are the potential long term effects of taking growth hormone? And since you don’t take the GH forever, does you body start producing it on its own again or do you not need it really as an adult? Basically, doctors don’t explain this stuff and I was so young I don’t remember much, so anything would be helpful! Thank you!
Just as an aside: I’m 25 now, I do have thyroid problems since age 4 when I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and took radioiodine to (I guess convert?) it into hypothyroidism which I now take synthroid for. Maybe this caused my GHD?
Love your show! ?
