Super easy homemade southwest salad dressing that pairs perfectly with any salad! This creamy dressing is flavored with smoked paprika, cumin, and garlic, and has just the right amount of kick. Best of all, you can mix it up right in a mason jar in under 5 minutes!
½ cup mayo
¼ cup greek yogurt (dairy free or regular)
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
2 tablespoons filtered water
1 teaspoon chili powder
½ teaspoon smoked paprika
½ teaspoon cumin
½ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon salt, more to taste
½ teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon freshly chopped cilantro
Blend: Add the mayo and greek yogurt to a glass jar or bowl and fold until combined. Add the remaining ingredients and stir until smooth.
Store: Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 4 days. Enjoy!
I like to mix up the dressing in a 12 oz mason jar, then pop the lid on and store it in the same jar in the fridge.
If the dressing is a little thick, you can add more water 1 tablespoon at a time until it reaches the desired consistency.
For dairy free dressing, I love using Culina coconut milk yogurt. It’s very thick and creamy.
Want more of a kick? Add an additional ½ teaspoon chili powder.
